On 9 December, the first batch of technical equipment for basin inspections was handed over to the Ministry of Water Resources of Kazakhstan within the framework of the GIZ regional programme ‘”Climate-sensitive Water Resources Management in Central Asia”
This equipment will serve as a key tool for improving the efficiency of water resources monitoring and management, as well as enhancing the analytical capacity of national specialists. The initiative aims to support the sustainable development of the water sector while addressing challenges associated with climate change.
The project highlights the importance of modernizing water resources management and strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia.
