The Regional Program “Climate-sensitive Water Resources Management in Central Asia”, along with other national and international organizations supported the scientific-practical conference organized by SIC ICWC “Water in Central Asia: Future in Cooperation” held on 8 November 2024 in Tashkent.
The aim of the conference was to dialog between decision makers and experts and to create a partnership of experts to strengthen the interaction between policy and science in Central Asia on the main directions of improving water resources management considering the water-energy-soil nexus.
GIZ Regional Program Manager Dr. Caroline Milow made a presentation on “Regional Climate Change Adaptation Strategy in Central Asia – Green Central Asia Initiative”
Along with the ICWC members and their representatives, the scientists and practitioners from scientific, educational, water management and international organizations participated in the event.
