IT equipment, including computers and printers, were delivered to Tajikistan’s Ministry of Energy and Water Resources on April 6, 2024, as part of the GIZ regional program “Climate Sensitive Water Resources Management in Central Asia,” which was funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and co-financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC and implemented by GIZ.
The equipment provision is part of the Ministry’s technical and institutional support for building and strengthening its infrastructure. This funding will increase the region’s ability to evaluate and interpret water data to aid in climate change adaption and promote sustainable development.
