On March 18, 2021 ‘Green Central Asia’ in cooperation with the Ministry of Water Resources of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers and UNDP project «Technical capacity building» funded in the frame of the wider EU Programme «Sustainable management of water resources in rural areas in Uzbekistan» supported the World Water Day in Uzbekistan.
In 2021 the topic of the World Water Day is declared as Valuing Water. It makes people think about what water means, its true value and safeguard it effectively for everyone.
Together with other organisations, the ‘Green Central Asia’ Programme awarded the winners, students of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineer, in the contest for water-related drawings and video making.
