“Green Alliance KG”, a non-governmental organization, officially launched project activities timed to coincide with the International Day of the Syr Darya River in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The initiative is implemented within the framework of the GIZ programme “Climate-Sensitive Water Resources Management in Central Asia” with the support of BMZ, SDC and the European Union. Implementation period: April – November 2025.
Project objectives include raising environmental awareness and engaging youth in water conservation, promoting sustainable water use and strengthening regional cooperation.
📍The activities will take place in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Naryn oblasts and include:
– Seminars for students and schoolchildren
– Eco-activities on riverbanks
– Media campaign and creative contests
– National Forum in Osh city
