Partner Dialogue in action

On 23 January, a Partner Dialogue meeting was held in Tashkent to strengthen cooperation by involving all stakeholders, including national partners and international development organisations.

The Amu Darya and Syr Darya River Basin Dialogue brought together policy and implementation partners, members of the Project Management Committee and representatives of projects focusing on water resources management, climate change, disaster risk management and land management.

To gather feedback from partner countries, the Partner Dialogue Forum meets at least once a year before the Project Steering Committee meeting.

The Partner Dialogue Forum brought together authorised representatives appointed by each Central Asian country (representatives of the Central Asian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and relevant line ministries), as well as representatives of development partners active in water resources management in the region.
