On September 17, 2025, a seminar on “Experience in Conducting Renewable Energy Auctions in Kazakhstan” was held at KOREM JSC. Delegations from the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Energy Center participated.
The event was supported by the EuropeanUnion4Sustainable Central Asia: Renewable Energy in Central Asia (EURECA) regional program and aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and sharing best practices in auctioning renewable energy projects.
Participants were introduced to the legislative and technical aspects of implementing the auction system in Kazakhstan, as well as the results achieved and future plans for developing green generation within the framework of the Action Plan for the Development of the Electricity Sector until 2035.
In addition, representatives of the Settlement and Financial Center for Renewable Energy Support LLC presented government support measures provided to investors in renewable energy projects, as well as the established system of contractual relations that ensures a favorable investment climate.
During the meeting, the delegations showed great interest, asked a number of clarifying questions, and expressed gratitude to KOREM JSC for the high-quality organization and informative seminar program.
