Summer school "Water in the Aral Sea Basin under Climate Change - Management and policy challenges from data and knowledge perspectives"
The Summer School will be held online from 14 to 25 June 2021. It addresses dedicated master and PhD students as well as junior university teachers, researchers and specialists with interest in geoscientific tools for integrated water and land resources management and its practical implementation in Central Asia. Eligible are participants from the Central Asian countries Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan. Participants will be selected based on their application documents, which should be submitted by 14 May, 2021.
The summer school programme will include an in-depth introduction into geographical information system (GIS), an overview on remote sensing applications for land and water resources monitoring, an introduction into climatological data analysis and an introduction to GRACE
